Jack, I know just how you felt when you saw those scratches. Sick. I think it's because preventing them would have been so easy, but Corian, like some other surfaces, is supposed to be so durable that excessive babying isn't necessary, or so we're to believe. I am glad you were able to restore your countertop. Did you have to take a big breath before you dove in with the repairs, wondering if you're end up with a bigger disaster than you already had? Congratulations on a job well done! (Now, if you decide you do want to trade in your rig for one that hasn't been damaged, give us a call. Even though it's been "damaged," I know how gorgeous your Hickory Edition is, and with a deep discount for the repaired countertop, well . . . )
