Figure the weight of the trailer, all the stuff you will put in it including groceries, two full propane tanks, everything you will carry in the truck including people and pets, any water you will have in the holding tank, a full tank of fuel and anything I have missed and that is the weight you will be towing. I am more concerned with stopping and control of the truck and trailer. Any 3/4 ton truck will have the same engine and tranny as a one ton but there is a whole lot more truck in a one ton.
