I have a folding 7 foot ladder from CW. It rides in a basement on a "shelf" I put hanging from the basment rafters. I've used it numerous times but nearly always it is for removing bugs from the nose of the Montana. I used to use it to reach the knobs on the patio awning (way up there on the 3400) but found I can reach them using a small folding step stool that rides in the bed of the truck between bedrail and toolbox. Saves pulling out that ladder.

I think you'd find many of those you see that do not have a ladder bungeed to the rig ladder have a ladder of some kind in the storage area. Not everyone, but many.

Robbie, what you discovered is exactly why I sold my six footer and bought the seven footer. Now I can reach all the way to the top.
