We had a BR AC, on our 3400, that was not ducted and it was loud. We went to using ear plugs, for a number of reasons. Still use them everynight. Dog will let me know if anything is amiss in the house, then Mr. Walther becomes my friend. Many times we went to bed with just the rear (main) AC on which was ducted into the bedroom. That was usually enough to keep us happy. You might try that for awhile......
