OK ... I chose wrong on the description
... my sink water smelled bad and flushing the washer lines fixed it. Since we don't use the washer, I capped the lines, the smell has not returned in 5 years. This may not be the OP's answer, but it has cured several stinky sinks over the years on the MOC.
