Hi Russ,

The small black switch must be on for the 120v heater to work. If it is stuck, turn off the 120vac ckt breaker for the heater. Spray it in the crack around the rocker part with a light oil like PB Blaster, maybe WD-40 and see if it will free up.

If not, pry it out of the hole, you can probably get one at Radio Shack, must be 120vac/15a rated. If not your local RV Dealer can get you one. You will probably break/destroy the switch, but it is bad anyway.

If you can not get a switch, just connect the wires on the switch together and if the element is OK, the thermostat is not tripped, you have 120vac to the heater, it should heat.
