I guess it is where you camp. perhaps in the south west where there are few trees and the ground is fairly level the dome works OK, but here in the east. to many trees, to many hills. We have a few in our camping club that have the dome and they can rarely use it due to the obstructions. Beside we can set up the direct Tv on the tripod in less that 15 Mins and with 100 ft 0f RG-6 cable have always been able to get a clear shot at the sat.
