Yes. I have a Onan micro quiet 4000. Mine is in my Motor Home and went bad in 34 hours. My AC was bad and pulling too many amps. These generators have a small set of brushes that excites the armature. The more amps you use the higher the voltage on these brushes and the faster they wear out.
How long will it last pulling that many amps? That is something I don’t know.
If you are buying the generator I would suggest something else.
