I keep telling folks to turn the purchase on new units into a commodity bid and buy from the lowest priced dealer PERIOD. Then go find a SERVICE ONLY business to do the repair work! You will save thousands on the purchase and get far better service doing it that way!!

Never ever believe that "we will take care of you after the sale hype". The sales department has only one mission and that's to get your signature on the bottom line.
Most (not all but most) service departments at sales dealerships are only there to prep units and are often staffed by inexperienced Techs. sales dealership service departments are supported by sales.
By contrast a SERVICE ONLY business usually has very experienced Techs. and their business model is to complete repairs to YOUR satisfaction as quickly as possible. A service only business does not stay in business long if they don't do good work and fast.
And by all means if you travel a lot look for good mobile repair guys. For minor repairs they are very often your best bet!!
And finally, give up on the idea that your going to be happy (or that sales dealership is going to fix everything after you signed and do it quick ha ha ha ha ha....) getting everything repaired under warranty. If it's not an extremely expensive structural fix like frame flex, just plan on paying for it yourself to get it done fast and move on. If you did a commodity bid up front you have saved several thousand to spend on minor repairs anyway.....
