When we were selling Rv's at the Rv shows and the customer would ask me if his Ford Ranger would pull the 14K 5th wheel he was looking to buy and I would say..sure it will..about 10 feet before something broke.Will it pull it and will it pull it safely and within ratings and spec's are two different questions .
As I have said many times we found few salesman that did not know their product.They would not be salesmen very long if they did not. We found the majority of potential buyers knew little or nothing about their product. We spent a lot of time protecting the buyer against themselves In many cases the buyer would tell me I did not know what I was talking about and would go down the row and purchase from a salesman who told them what they wanted to hear.
Will it pull it.....sure..uninformed question...stupid answer.but not a lie IE: the ever on going 3/4 ton one ton debate.
