I did check the burner tube and no obstructions.
Looking more and more like the valve, but will hopefully find out for sure tomorrow.....
I did call a mobile RV Tech and wanted to give him a model and serial number of the heater and asked him to bring out a new valve. He ssid he had to check it first before ordering parts. I told him to forget it, I wasn't paying for two service calls. He could always return the valve if it is not the culprit. I will probably have to replace it when I get to Bar Harbor next week.....
