I haven't used a Curt slider hitch but do have a Pullrite Superglide. I have had zero problems with it and it's a no brainer to operate (one of the reasons I got it). It operates smoothly and requires minimal maintenance and adjustment. I like that the head is removable and I can do it by myself. It was more $$ than some other hitches, but well worth every penny. Highly recommended.
