I noticed this is an older thread but still a good one! We have the 7710 and I really don’t know of hardly any difference in them between the two. I will say that the “speed Warning” really works. Some friends of our told us they had to adjust the warning. I told them I didn’t speed. They were camping with us last summer and we did most of the driving when we went somewhere together. That caused a chuckle every time it got me so I eventually had to raise the warning settings. Now with all that said I do like having the warning it’s amazing how many little speed zones (speed traps) will pop up from time to time. Very nice GPS overall and we really enjoy it.
