Don, Thank you SO MUCH for your confirmation that there is a design mistake in my trailer's landing gear. I know others here just thought I was exaggerating or that i didn't have the feet up or something but the problem is real and I will be moving the whole landing gear assembly up by about 5 " so that my clearance will increase from about 4" to 9". I measured the outside square pole on another 2008 and it was about 5" shorter than mine but the owner told me that the l.g. was switched out on a trip to Texas. Again thanks for the support to all who responded and I hope that this discussion will help others with the same issue.
