Finding that free place to overnight

When you're headed for the Rally, or anywhere else for that matter, and want to overnight for free, how do you find a place. I know there's apps, both free and otherwise, and I have most of those, but I never found them convenient to use when your out in strange territory (usually rural). On the Coach-Net news letter the other day I found this site: http://www.overnightrvparking.com
The bad news is it costs $25 a year. The good news is you get that back the first night you don't pay to camp. For me, it put everything I wanted in one place. What the restrictions were, what was near there for eating etc. and who to contact if necessary. This is for information only, I'm not endorsing the site. It's just what I was looking for and so I'm sharing it. On the other hand, if you refer someone or if you inform them of a new place to camp or changes to an existing one you get additional weeks on your subscription. So if you do decide to join and want to credit me it's Dqdick10432@yahoo.com
