I reinforced the factory 2" hitch with another 2"x2"x1/4" tube running between the W12 frame beams. The factory hitch is welded about 8-10" in front of the ends of the frame beams so I added the tube to reduce the cantilever and provide additional support. The tongue weight of my jetski trailer is approximately 300-350# and is applied about 6" behind the rear face of the trailer. The factory hitch states 300# max rack weight which applies the load 18-24" behind (higher bending moment on the receiver).

I would look at disc brakes if you plan on double towing.
