I discovered a easy way to hold ours down in Key West on a Class A with the same electric awning as we have. They used 2- 3 or 5 gallon buckets, two bungees, two large swim noodles and a hank of cheap rope. The rope goes through the noodles. The noodles go over the ends of the awning arms, this way the rope never touches the awning. The buckets are never filled more than half full. the rope is attached to the buckets with the two bungees, one on each bucket. This arrangement has held well in winds up to 40 at which point the buckets started to lift. When the buckets start to bounce I then just bump the noodles over the end of the awning and off. Then I just roll the awning up as usual. This also dampens the flapping and protects the awning from sharp shocks... Dave
