The pictures were really good. My wife and I have just restrung one of the two cord shades and have a four cord on the counter to be redone. The biggest issue we have is setting the tension when we reinstall the shades. Does anyone have a secret to setting the tension correctly?
We did a trial and error install on the tension, and it appears that you must have the shade all the way up with the cords tight and then set your tension. This was a two person project.
By the way we contacted the Irvine Shade in Elkhart and was told that we needed to go through Keystone to purchase the shades (we needed only the day portion of the shade due to a tear). We also needed some end caps and the lady said she would send me some. We shall see. We would have never attempted this without seeing the pictures.
