Those pads look interesting, but I do not use pads normally. I have two concerns with using these. One is, when extending or retracting the jacks, I notice a little slide movement of the pads on the ground, due to the angle the jacks are installed on these rigs. I wonder if this would put side strain on the rams if the pads weren't able to slide a bit? My second concern is, I and many others have had some hydraulic oil leakage from the jacks and I wonder how these pads hold up in contact to this oil, or even if they are set down onto an oily surface, as in a parking lot or other paved area that has areas where oil has dripped onto the surface.
