I have done nothing on the roof since purchasing our Monty. It is documented as 12'9" and we do not have any vent cover, just the folded down television antenna. Adding a vent cover or the second AC will definitely change that. A quick check on the Montana website states RKassl's Monty is the same height. But again, this assumes no roof additions at the highest point.
Most roads near underpasses are usually regraded to keep the height under bridges, but as afk15e points out, can you really trust that happens all the time?
I am not nearly as concerned about public roads and bridges but who knows what happens in private or commercial lands being modified, or some refueling stations. Fortunately, I hope I keep remembering to look up in addition to front, back, left and right.
