Good Evening All,

I am considering installing a so-called improved pin box on my 2006 3400RL. I am leaning toward the Demco Glide-Ride unit which can be purchased in 2 configurations. The LCI1116 is a direct replacement for the pin box on my 3400RL and essentially places the king pin in the same place as the pin box on my trailer. Demco also has another model that is an "extended pin box".

Although I have been told that all Montana's use Lippert brand pin boxes, some of the shorter 2006 Montanas use an extended pin box, which is different from the 1116 unit on my trailer.

Will someone with a 2006 shorter model Montana please let me know the part number of the pin box on their trailer - the part number should be on the top front of the pin box, above the king pin.
