[D and M On The Road]

Well..... we tried the infusion drink and I wasn't impressed. But of course it could have something to do with the fact that I don't like vodka and I am not a big drinker anyways.

Three others who tried the drink (and who like Martinis) thought the drink was great. We had used a good quality vodka so I had thought it wouldn't have tasted so.... so..... (hmmm, what is the word I am searching for here?).... so much like vodka!...*LOL

So here is the recipe. I'm going to look for some more recipes to add here.... any one else have any?


Tropical Infusion

1 large jar.... like a suntea jar with the spigot at the bottom
1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into spears or bitsize chunks.
1 bottle of vodka
1 bottle of vanilla flavored vodka
1 bottle of Malibu Rum


Put prepared pineapple in jar.
Add in the 3 different alcohols.
Put in lid and let "infuse" (ferment) for 1 week.
Stays good for 2 to 3 weeks.

(When serving, an option is to add a bit of 7-up to each glass.)
