I am looking at buying a 50amp surge protector and ran across a brand I had not heard of. A local RV supplier is selling Hughes Autoformers Power Watchdog for about 1/2 what a similar better known brand would cost. Anyone heard of the Power Watchdog and what do you think?

FYI, The Watchdog has an app that alerts you if your power goes down. Something I have not seem before. Not sure if or how it would call you if your not close enough to Bluetooth but if it does that would be really nice for those of us who work during the day and might need to know if power goes down........
