My vote would be for the new LMM Duramax. I bought one about two years ago and will buy another if needed. THey are truely a great truck. The allison transmission is the best transmission out there in these trucks. The dpf on the diesels arent as big of a deal as some people make them out to be. You get a quiet diesel, no smell, but you get more power then the past generations. I have never owned a ford, nor a dodge so i can't really comment on them. Dodge has had its share of transmission problems though. My vote is for the Chevy/GMC duramax.
