Close doors.
I have done this with refrigs, coolers, etc. for years. Yes, even my coolers. Opened one after 2 years, took newsprint out, damp cloth to outside, filled, ice, ready to picnic.
The thing is, before you load with newsprint, it must be clean and DRY!!
