no need to see the pin to hook up. just using a sight "marker" on how the truck lines up with the rv body as seen from your drivers door mirror does the trick.
when i train nu-bee's i have to break them of the habit of using both mirrors and turning there head around. as they are always twisted doing all that. heck had one he kept wagging the dog to back up.
i have a f250 short bed 4X4. stock height. i do not try looking at the pin. just how the pu lines up with the rv.
i can see how a camera might help, but how i have been doing for so long it would just be in my way.
but makes me wonder. i have a traffic cam front and rear facing. could this be used as such via my cell phone?
and yes i have gotten many a place down the hwy with my eyes closed
