TLightning, assuming the cord that came with your rig was 30'+?. Were you using the entire length of the two cords, or could you have gotten by with, say a 15 foot extension? Our rig has a large window in front. I'm thinking if I was in a situation to park my rig in the opposite direction to gain a better view (like along the Oregon coast), perhaps I should consider making a longer cord.
