We monitor these:
Engine oil temperature
Engine coolant temperature
Transmission fluid temperature
Transmission RPM slippage
Fuel Rail pressure
Exhaust gas temperature
Fuel rail temperature
We could monitor several dozen if not several hundred more but most of what we don’t monitor is obscure stuff that has no meaning to anyone except the engineer that designed the engine.
The only thing I wish we could monitor is engine oil pressure but can’t.
