Things will change as you load the trailer, with the RD models you can keep all the heavy stuff in the rear storage areas, when/if you fill your water tank for trips it is also in the rear and you will likely see the pin weight drop some. I've had the 2015 3790 loaded heavy to the rear since getting it and the pin weight has sat right around 2800lbs... Tows better with the water tank full than empty in my opinion.
