If the fridge is in a slide, the water line will enter at the outside rear of the slide...just like the electrical lines. Should be a shutoff under the sink. When I installed my fridge, I used the cold water line to kitchen sink for my icemaker with a shutoff there for the icemaker. I also put a t connection in the water line as it comes out of the rear most lower metal skirt and a drain faucet on the t connection....so I can drain the line when I need to.
