Brian and Cindy, thanks so much for your first hand experience. My gut feeling is that we wouldn't be very entertained driving through ND. The Interstate actually sounds more interesting by your description. I appreciate your experienced opinion and will certainly take it under consideration. We do want to make good time across Montana since this is not the highlight of our trip, this time. We will have 3 or 4 days of relaxation north of Kallispell at Rocky Mountain 'HI' campground before we enter Canada. I will take a serious look at the route north of Libby to Eureka. I love 'majestic' scenery. Thanks again to all who have responded.
