I was just giving information. Wanted them to know the different possibilities. Yes it is out of the way and a longer trip. But they might want to visit the dam.

Also easier driving on the 62 to the California 95 instead of going through Lake Havasu but they may want to visit the London Bridge. Just trying to give various routes as I understand them.

Thanks for the info. Perhaps it will help them decide. While 60 is an interesting road I don't think I'd advise them to take that route. Very heavy traffic around the Phoenix area. It took us about an hour and half from I-10 to out around Sun City area. Lot's of stop and go stuff. It is a pretty drive after you get past the Wickenburg area.
