The easier way is to remove the back wall of the passthru compartment, find the lines that feed the vacuum breaker, cut each one and connect them together (using a couple of 90 degree Shark Bite connectors). This will eliminate the vacuum breaker, and the leak behind the shower. You do need to put an anti-siphon valve on the convenience center connection to provide the same back flow protection
So just so I have this right... if I have access to the water lines behind the pass through I can cut and splice (using the shark bites) there as long as I have the back flow preventer at the flush connection. It would help if I could see a picture of the two lines connected together.
