The liability on our trailer is covered by our car insurance, while any damage to the trailer itself is covered by our house insurance. In our case, both our vehicles and home are insured by the same company (Heartland).

I don’t fuss about the contents because I don’t think the stuff in our trailer is worth much. We’re just talking about linens, dishes, clothes, etc.
