As we enter in to 2010, I can't help but reflect on what led to the purchase of our Mounty three years ago.

One day, about four years ago, I got the bright idea to go look at tent trailers with my 4 cylinder Toyota Pre-runner. A good idea at the time, problem is Sue came with me. Ended up that afternoon with an 18 foot trailer and a Toyota Tundra. That lasted for about six months and then Sue decided we needed a bigger trailer. OK, sounded like a good idea, off to the dealer and back with a 24 foot with one slide-out. Things were going on pretty good for another six months until she decided the truck was too small to continue pulling that trailer. Off to the dealer, back home with a Dodge diesel. You can guess what happened next...the Monty.

Maybe I should have titled this how not to get a Montana??? Three years and absolutely no regrets although there was probably a cheaper way of doing this. Have a heck of a camping year all.
