All our outside compartments had leaks, they weren't sealed between the frame & siding. I removed them, added butyl tape, additional screws & then siliconed the exterior joint. What I noticed was the frame would move a little when the door was closed, not a good sign, now they are all water tight. I would remove the frame to check,if it is a small leak you may never notice till its too late. You will see right a way if it is wet on the back side.
