Our carpet does this also in our 3731FL. Ours got grit under it and gouged the flooring before we even took delivery. Dealer replaced flooring prior to demo and cautioned us to make sure floor is clear before running slides in. We always check under carpet for sand or gravel before closing up. The carpet thing is not an issue as it will lay down flat after about an hour. Had the same thing on our former SOB. The carpet overlap does seem necessary.
