Those escape ladders are a good idea but they are designed for the home and to attach to a window sill. Rv's do not have window sills. By the time you got that out and somehow hooked up you would be cindered. We also keep a big fire extinguisher in the bedroom. Just get out.. One went up when we were wintering in Az and it was a Montana. Fire started in the front bedroom. It was on Tv and the entire front was engulfed in flame. In like a couple of mins the entire unit was engulfed.
