I used my DirecTV from our house after we moved out to live full time in the RV. I called direcTV to set up a move install. The tech was surprised it was not a house but was kind to still help install in the RV... here is what the tech and I did...

- removed the main cable labeled SAT from the RV splitter as it creates too much resistance.

- put it in the “input” new spitter that DirecTV tech provided.
- found which cable went to what TV. Living room and bed room. And plugged them in the new splitter “out put”.
- remove the dual connectors “ create resistance “ that are on the wall behind the TV. Used that cable directly in the main box(living room) and the cable in bedroom directly in the smaller box.
- installed the SWM under the access compartment who also connects into the new splitter.
- the tech gave me the flat roof set up that uses concrete blocks hold the dish but we left it on the ground pointed in the proper direction!
- it all works!!!!
