The carpet in my 2011 3455sa was under the landing outside the bathroom and extended into the bedroom about a foot or so. I cut it off and rolled it under itself and stapled it to the floor at the bedroom door. so now I can enter the camper and use the bathroom without stepping on any carpet.

I also found out the kitchen flooring went towards the rear of the unit about a foot past the end of the kitchen island. What I did there is remove the carpet back to the end of the island and fold it under itself and staple it to the floor. Now there is kitchen flooring between the island and dinette.

There is no carpet in most of the bedroom and no carpet in the rear living area.

Of coarse there were hundreds of staples to remove which left pin holes in the flooring that are not noticeable. There were a few screws visible down through the floor, I just put some silicon in them to seal them up. There was also a few lumps under it and a few small cuts in the flooring that are barely noticeable.
