This was on our SOB travel trailer. When you hit the switch for the water heater, the light came on when it was trying to light. Then once it was lit, the light went out indicating it was working. If the light was on, it meant it didn't light. Now we sold this a couple years ago, but I'm pretty sure that's how it worked...
