Mine chirps from time to time, usually on cool damp mornings or just after a rain. The chirping is in sync with each revolution of the belt and occurs when the seam of the belt passes over the idler and/or tension pulleys. I suspect it is the slick side of the belt slipping as it goes around one of those pulleys. Nothing to worry about and not a problem. The chirping goes away when the moisture evaporates and the slipping stops.
