When I had my 2006 6.0 F350 the service tech told me that the 6.0 PSD engine needed you to drive it like you stold it (hard) to keep the carbon out of the EGR and the turbo variable pitch vanes. He also siad to add fuel additive to each tank to keep the cetane rating high to burn the carbon when possible. Finaly traded it in for a 2011 6.7 F350 and haven't looked back. LOVE the new truck!
