I experienced a lot of weird electrical "gremlins" and slide-out difficulties from weak batteries.

My OEM batteries did fine for 3 years - then the Big Texas Freeze Feb 2021 (no power & 9* for 5 days) basically drained & killed them. I tried to run the furnace at a low temp for insurance against freezing even though I had blown out the system. I should have disconnected them.

I bought two Group 27 marine AGMs from Sams to replace the OEMs. The Big Central Texas Ice Storm Dec 2022 (again 5 days no power at 15*) killed those. I hoped they would charge up and live again but they were too far gone.

I am on my 3rd set now...Sams Group 27 marine lead acid. My rig is plugged in 99% of the time (either at campground or at S&B).
