There's already lots of good advice in the replies and I can't add but maybe one thing. Unless you have total trust in your dealer, I'd recommend you defer signing the final paperwork and/or check until you've done the PDI and he's fixed anything other than the most minor problems you find. Somehow wanting to make sure he gets your money is influential in getting things fixed quickly and correctly. Some dealers are excellent and trustworthy, others seem to forget who you are once they have your money. Just some thoughts.
