The sidewall gives you the max load rating at xx psi cold pressure. For the Marathons the max load rating is at 80 psi, running them at 65 lbs would be running them under inflated and they would be much more likely to overheat and wear on the outer edges. I don't know what the max pressure rating is on the Bridgestone Duravis, but the tire is only rated at just over 3000 lb capacity. I completely agree with Kerry, speed and under inflation are the two biggest killers of trailer tires, along with overloading of course.

Run the tires at their max cold pressure and you will be less likely to have any kind of problems. JMHO
