One winter when I was still working, I had taken a load of fuel up to Thompson, Manitoba. When I woke up in the morning the temperature was -48C (-54.4F) with a wind chill of -58C (-72.4F) All of the air lines on both trailers were froze up solid and it took me 4.5 hours to get them thawed out before the brakes would release and I could go unload the trailers. I never want to experience those temperatures again. Winters are way to long.
Last night it was -29C (-20.2F) It's now -12C (10.4F) wind chill of -20C or -4F and warming up to -1C (30.2F) on Thursday. A heat wave for us.
