I have become confused many times wondering whether the battery disconnect should be on or off. Sounds simplistic, but I always have to try one of the lights in the convenience center or basement to make sure that the batteries are actually in disconnect mode. So, in summary, should it be on or should it be off, heck if I can remember, that is why I just switch it until the light goes off!!
