The one sure way to ensure you never connect to the wrong fitting is to use a quick disconnect on the fresh water connection. My white hoses and the fresh water fitting in the convenience center all utilize quick disconnects. Not only does it simply setups, the fittings don't leak and you can't connect the fresh water to the black tank flush.
I have a gray hose for the black tank flush with standard fittings. If it leaks at the fitting I don't care since the anti-siphon valve dumps water when you disconnect regardless.
