I had my left shoulder done two years ago. I had two complete tears of the rotato cuff and a detached bicep muscle as the result of an accident. I was prepared for the worst regarding the recovery, but really didn't think it was that bad. Was it painful? Yes, but not as bad as the pain prior to the surgery. I now have about 80% of the strength and full mobility without any pain. Just follow the doctors instructions and you may be surprised. Good luck.
